Wow, what a difference a week makes... The team traveled to Stanford, started with 2 quick goals then was shelled 7-3 in the first quarter. But, instead of getting down, the team responded by locking in and working on defense - getting stops lead to scoring goals. By half, the score is 9-7 and we have a game. SSU kept driving and eventually ended up with a 13-11 win; great to see the team not be affected by mistakes, by being on the road, or by some odd calls from the refs - they locked in and pulled out a great win. Next up, Dominican on Wednesday - GO NOMA!!!
PS - Proud Dad moment, great to see Zack back in goal and playing strong with 22 saves and great leadership of the defense!
