Beautiful weather for a lacrosse game - after a week of rain, the sunshine was awesome! The game started hot with good saves and solid goals on offense, then both teams settled down and got to work. After halftime, CSU took off and ran the score to 6-2 in methodical fashion. Then, SSU roared back with some great offense and timely stops on defense and tied the score with only minutes left in the game. Unfortunately, CSU ripped a long shot and went up 7-6; SSU pushed and pushed in the waning moments but could not find the back of the net... Strong showing for parts of the game, great effort overall... Next up, the road trip up north to visit UW and Simon Fraser - GO NOMA!!!
