4/16: Sunshine, Senior Day, and Stanford...

What a perfect day for a lacrosse game... Last regular season game. Playing against rival Stanford. Playing on the football field, long on SSU history and tradition, the field these seniors learned to play SSU lacrosse on. The game started well, then slowed down in the second period. After halftime, Stanford came out smoking and ran up a big lead. SSU started a comeback in the fourth period but it was too little, too late.

Its amazing that four years went by so fast, watching these young kids playing college lacrosse for the first time and growing into skilled, intelligent, seniors who know the game and love the game and will now spread that love wherever they end up next. Thank you boys, men, for all the practices, workouts, suffering, repetition, to strive to improve year after year - you have made us parents so very proud to say "Yes, my son plays lacrosse for SSU"! You have always given your best and your all and have honored the legacy of SSU lacrosse while raising the bar for those who are following behind you.

NDNU next Saturday, then the playoffs the week after; take a breath, shake off today, and drop the hammer - GO NOMA!!!!
