Playing sometimes in rain and sometimes in sunshine is an apt metaphor for the flow of the game itself; SSU looked very good many times and not so good others, very atypical for the team so far this year. Colorado is a very good team that executed a good game plan, mainly punish the SSU threats when on defense and hammer the crease when on offense - and rough up Scary on the face-offs. Despite these pressures, the team was able to execute at times and that is a good sign.
A good effort against a very strong team and perhaps a good reality check before the three final conference games coming up. Looking forward to the game tomorrow for sure! GO NOMA!!
